**Qualifications:** * MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. * Board certification or eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine. * Valid medical license to practice in Illinois or eligibility to obtain one. * Strong clinical skills in infectious disease diagnosis and management. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ** ** **Inpatient Care (Hospitalist)** * Serve as a hospitalist providing medical care to adult inpatients as part of a shared call or rotation schedule. * Admit, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients from the affiliated hospital. * Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and case management to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary round * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. * Schedule: 7:00am to 7:00pm (7 on/7 off schedule) **Compensation and Benefits:** * **Salary** \- $150 per hour * **Sign on bonus $35,000** * Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics.
