Occupational Therapist Position Summary The Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) is a licensed professional who is responsible for performing Occupational Therapy services in the outpatient pediatric population. The Occupational therapist is responsible for the evaluation, assessment, treatment planning, implementation and delivery of occupational therapy services to ensure positive patient outcomes. The OT assesses and documents the pediatric patient’s current functional status using clinical observations, caregiver reports, standardized testing, occupational profile, strengths, and participation challenges. The OT analyzes information to address foundational deficits causing difficulties with skill development. This role provides Occupational Therapy sessions, and collaborates with families and caregivers in the clinic and throughout the community. The OT addresses goals and provides treatment that supports sensory-motor, cognitive, psychological, self-help ,fine and gross motor skills, paly, and behavioral development. This position modifies treatment goals as needed and documents family/caregiver involvement. Occupational Therapist Job Requirements Education Master’s degree from Accredited OT school CPR certification. Required License and/or Certification Maryland or Delaware state licensure is required, depending on the state of residency. Experience Previous Pediatric Experience Preferred.
