Multimodality Ultrasound/Vascular Tech Position Summary Performs vascular/ultrasound procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required. Multimodality Ultrasound/Vascular Tech Position Requirements Education Graduate of an approved Allied health Program (Radiologic technology, Nuclear Medicine or registered Nurse) or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. Required License and/or Certification Currently registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Must be registered and must maintain both modalities. Experience Minimum of two years of experience. Hospital experience preferred. Multimodality Ultrasound/Vascular Tech Work Schedule Day shift, Monday through Friday with alternating call. Schedule may expand to cover evening or weekend depending on patient demand. Shared call. Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.
