Department: Human Resources

Shift: Day

Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist II is responsible for managing full recruitment life cycles, from sourcing to screening candidates to supporting onboarding activities. The Talent Acquisition Specialist II is responsible for providing professional recruiting services to help Baptist Health meet its current and emerging workforce needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Review applications, assess qualifications against position requirements, and ensure qualified applicants are sent to managers for their review

2. Calculate salary offers based on internal guidelines and candidate experience

3. Extend offers to candidates at manager’s request

4. Manage positions/requisitions alongside managers ensuring metrics are met

5. Provide excellent customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and internal partners throughout recruitment process

6. Attend and represent Baptist Health at job fairs, hiring events, community outreach programs, and other industry opportunities to promote job openings, highlight company culture, and engage with potential candidates

7. Build relationships with schools, training programs, and community organizations to expand talent pipelines

8. Comply with all federal , state, local, employment laws, including EEO, ADA, FLSA

9. Uphold company policies and standards while handling sensitive information with discretion and a high degree of professionalism

10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation through audits

Other information:

1. **
* Bachelor’s Degree or 3-4 years of professional experience within an area of Human Resources is required

* Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, and/or human resources preferred

* Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SHRM) certification preferred.

* Punctual and regular attendance

* Ability and willingness to travel (in and out of state) as needed for events

* Strong communication (verbal/written), organization, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

* Familiarity with ATS, Human Resource tools

* Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards

* Standard office environment, in-person with extended periods of computer use

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
