Job Description
Position Summary Working collaboratively with clinical staff, nursing, and multiple referring Boston Children’s Hospital specialty providers, facilitating needed treatments and clinical support for patients and families in this ambulatory infusion and procedural clinic, which sees 10,000+ patients and families annually, 7 days a week. Treatments include biologic infusions, blood products, food allergy challenges, and day treatment for newly diagnosed diabetes, migraine management, sickle cell fever and pain, and PICC complications. Key Responsibilities • Triage patients and clinical care coordination, on-site practitioner coverage for emergent patient care, and direct care for patients experiencing PICC complications, food challenges, and assessment of new patients seen in Infusion Center •I ndependently managing infusion and acute reactions Schedule: per diem, 2 shifts in a 6 week period Location: Waltham with flexibility to cover Boston's Infusion Center as needed Minimal Qualifications Education • MSN required Experience • A minimum of 2 years Pediatric RN/NP experience required Licensure/Certifications • Current MA NP or MA PA license with PNP or FNP certification bchAPP The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
