Radiology Angiography Technologist - Flexi (Inpatient/Hospital Medical Center)

The CT/MRI/Angio Technologist is responsible for the maintenance and quality of patient care in the CT/MRI/Angio department and throughout the organization. * Produce high quality scans/images using proper positioning and technique * Work closely with the Radiology Nurse and Radiologist * Utilize assigned functions within the Radiology Information System to complete paperwork and to document contrast media reactions * Review patient's chart for information of physician's orders and follow written and/or verbal protocols and instructions * Work closely with the Radiology Nurse and Radiologist performing biopsy and drainage and all other procedures * Communicate equipment malfunctions and low inventory levels to the appropriate supervisor * Utilize hospital computer systems to enter radiology and laboratory orders, charges, and credits * Educate patients and families as requested regarding the exam, treatment, and outcome * Perform visual preventative safety inspections and report dangerous department or equipment conditions to the appropriate personnel * Follow department, NRC, and State regulations for radiation safety to keep exposure "ALARA" * Follow ACR Guidelines to maintain ACR Accreditation.
