Administrative Assistant

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Medical Staff Liaison to join the Medical Staff Services team.

The position is responsible for acting as a host for students/residents/interns during clinical rotations  at CMH.  The Medical Staff Liaison must stay current with each school's clinical rotation guidelines to ensure requirements are met while coordinating preceptor schedules to reduce overbooking. 

This position requires organizing new physician orientations, creating and managing training,  orientations & onboarding schedules within stated policies and organizational norms.  Success in this position requires excellent time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to self-manage.   

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in start time to accommodate orientation dates for new physicians and students.

Other required skills include:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Ability to organize information.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
• Proficient use of software applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to learn other computer programs such as our electronic medical record, Meditech Expanse.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with providers
• Ability to make decisions independently or to escalate issues as needed.
• Excellent Customer service skills

The position is primarily Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
