Registered Nurse

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) to care for our patients in our amazing Birth Place department! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Our obstetrics (OB) wing is specially designed for the health, comfort and safety of you and your baby. Our birthing suites provide a private, homelike environment for the entire labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum process. Babies can either stay with mom or in the nursery. Either way, you can rest assured that you are receiving the best care possible.

A typical day includes:

Providing support during labor, coaching mothers through pushing, and assisting with delivery procedures. 
Monitoring mother and baby's well-being
Recognizing and responding to potential complications or emergencies during labor and delivery. 

Job Requirements: 

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Skills: Patient care
Experience: Strong critical skills
License: RN
Physical: The ability to stand for long periods and to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The position is: Full-time, nights
