Radiology Technologist - $5000 Sign-On Bonus Available!

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Radiology Technologist to work at our main hospital in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echo-cardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI.

A typical day will include: Performing routine and specialized x-ray examinations in both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center.

Prepares patients for examinations, positioning and / or immobilizing the patient in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered, and while considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient
Performs examination, adjusts control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary
Processes data assuring optimal imaging has been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re-imaging as necessary
Prepares solutions using sterile techniques and administers barium and IV contrast solutions

This position is: Full-time, 3pm-11pm.

Job Requirements:

Education:  Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution
Experience:  Prior experience performing CT is preferred, but training can be provided
Skills:  Verbal and non-verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety
Licensure/Certification:  Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
