Radiology Technologist - $5000 Sign-On Bonus Available

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Radiology Technologist to join the team at the main hospital in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. About the department: Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echo-cardiography, ultrasound, PET, CT, and MRI.

A typical day will include: Performing routine and specialized x-ray examinations in both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center.

Prepares patients for examinations by positioning and / or immobilizing them in accordance with the types of procedures to be administered and considering their safety, physical, and psychological needs


Performs examination, adjusting control panel settings such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure as necessary


Processes data assuring optimal imaging has been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, and performs re-imaging as necessary


Assists radiologists and medical staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering barium and IV contrast solutions

This position is: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7pm-7am with shift differential and weekend-option pay.

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution


Experience: Prior experience performing CT is preferred, but training can be provided


Skills: Verbal and non-verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety


Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 


Physical: Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk the majority of the time; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. infrequently and 20-25 lbs. frequently
