ELIGIBLE FOR CMH EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS: PRIORITY RECRUITMENT and RELOCATION ASSISTANCE# This position will independently perform various sonographic examinations with minimal supervision from the Medical Director.# The Sonographer develops adequate clinical information, evaluates images and presents completed examinations for interpretation.# The Sonographer may render preliminary findings at the discretion of the Medical Director.# On call responsibility is an expectation of the position with on-site arrival within 30 minutes of contact.# May be required to cross train in additional modalities including physiological studies as appropriate.# # Job Requirements########################## Knowledge of /Skill/Ability to:# Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem solving, decision-making, judgment, technical skills, initiative, communication, interpersonal skills, customer relations, organizational relations. Knowledge of policies and procedures.# Adaptability and flexibility. # License/Certification:# Must be registered by the ARDMS or certified by the ARRT in at least one of the sonographic modalities; must maintain continued education requirements as specified by credentialing body. Current OBRT licensure as appropriate.#Current BLS required through the American Heart Association. # Education and/or Experience:# Sonographers who are also ARRT registered as radiographers may be required to perform diagnostic radiology studies as needed, including routine workday rotations in radiographic modalities as appropriate.# # ## # Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADACompliance############ ########### Must be in generally good health, with the ability to mobilize sonography equipment as required for patient care.# Must be able to transport patients as appropriate as well as assist with patient transfers and lifting as needed. #
