HVAC - Plant Operations

**DEFINITION** :

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibrations, overhaul, service and repair for all levels of refrigeration and air conditioning systems in the facility. Receive verbal instructions or work orders outlining in general terms equipment deficiencies and extent of work to be accomplished. Ability to determine own work methods, plan sequence of work and is responsible for overall accomplishment using the full range of trade techniques and work methods.

**REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE)** :

Licensure in the State of Oklahoma for Heating and Air Conditioning.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** :

Five years + related experience in residential air conditioning, commercial refrigeration.

Three years + experience in boiler plant operation and repair in an institutional environment preferred.

High School or equivalent

Completion of two years technical training in air conditioning and refrigeration systems preferred.

Five years commercial refrigeration.

Three years experience in boiler plant operation and repair in an institutional environment preferred.
