Radiographer (Special Procedure Tech)- HVC Cath Lab

DEFINITION:

Under the supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor, operates the special procedures department. Responsible for all special procedure examinations, equipment and materials. Assists the Radiologist and Cardiologists in performing special exams. Is able to provide patient care activities. Responsible for the proper utilization of Radiology Information System as described in the RIS Policy and Procedure.

EDUCATION:

Must meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer up to six months experience working in a radiology department.
