Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse - Industrial On-site Clinic - Casual Call

The Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse will provide professional nursing or medical assistant care as needed at an industrial clinic in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Duties include: * Greet and room patients, record vital signs, and collect medical histories. * Coordinate provider schedules, manage appointments, and prepare patient charts. * Educate and Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification. * Prepare for and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and administer medications and immunizations. * Maintain exam rooms and equipment in accordance with infection control standards. * Monitor and restock medical supplies to ensure readiness for patients. * Schedule patient appointments for lab draws and process lab work as needed. **Qualifications:** BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program. (Can be obtained on the job). **Medical Assistant: **Certified as a Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant through an approved accreditor preferred, however can train on the job. **Licensed Practical Nurse: **Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor. **Shift:** Working Casual Call (meaning you work as needed), primarily looking to staff on Thursdays and Fridays at a local Industrial Clinic in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
