Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse/Casual Call - Sturgeon Bay Clinic

The Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients. * Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds. * Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts. * Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts. * Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification. * Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations. * Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. * Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room. **Qualifications:** BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program. (Can be obtained on the job). **Medical Assistant: **Certified as a Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant through an approved accreditor preferred, however can train on the job. **Licensed Practical Nurse: **Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor. **Shift:** Casual Call means you work as needed. This position would work in various departments in the clinic (Orthopedics, Family/Internal Medicine, Podiatry, Pediatrics, or Women's Health) _**Casual Call positions are offered an additional 10% differential on top of the base hourly rate.**_
