Services provided by the Clinic Specialty Certified Surgical Technologist will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education, coordination of equipment and supplies to varying operating rooms and maintenance of in-office procedure rooms and autoclave. The Clinic Specialty Certified Surgical Technologist also performs job duties which are specific to department in which they are working; these duties will require special training. The Clinic Specialty Certified Surgical Technologist will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess. **Education and Experience** * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Required **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations** * Current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Required or * Current certification from the National Center for Competency Testing Required or * Current certification from the National Association for Health Professionals.
