Job Description

Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including preventive services, screenings, diagnosis, and treatment of reproductive health issues. * Perform routine gynecological exams, Pap smears, breast exams, and other screenings to detect abnormalities or potential health concerns. * Manage pregnancies from prenatal care through delivery, providing personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. * Conduct prenatal screenings, ultrasounds, and genetic testing to monitor fetal development and identify any potential complications. * Perform deliveries, including vaginal births, cesarean sections, and assisted deliveries, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby. * Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, infertility, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections. * Provide counseling and education to patients on contraception, family planning, sexual health, and lifestyle choices to promote overall wellness. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, surgeons, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients. * Stay informed about advances in obstetrics and gynecology through continued education, training, and participation in professional development activities. * Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, test results, and follow-up care. * Call is every 12 weekends. Qualifications: * Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine. * Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. * Valid state medical license and DEA registration. * Completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. * Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and procedures. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and bedside manner skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. * Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. * Dedication to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
