Compensation $31.12hr -- $46.68hr Assists with coordination and operation of Rehabilitation Therapy Services. Responsible for the safe planning and implementation of medically prescribed Speech Therapy treatment programs based on patient needs. Provide Speech Therapy in a professional and safe manner to meet the quality standard set forth by the American Speech and Hearing Association including, but not limited to: Evaluations, dysphagia treatments, aphasia treatments, patient education and instruction. Maintains accurate records by performing documentation on patient's medical record in a timely and efficient manner. Participates in staff development activities and workshops to increase professional competence and skills. **Education:** M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited University. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology. **Experience:** Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year. One year of clinical experience is preferred. One to three months on-the-job training to learn department procedures. Knowledge and skills relevant to the needs, assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. **Licenses/Certificates:** Certificate of Clinical competence in Speech Language Pathology. Licensure in State of Illinois. CPR certification.
