Assists physicians with interventional ultrasound-guided procedures. **Job Duties:** * Performs diagnostic sonographic imaging procedures. * Performs quality control and quality assessment. * Assists physicians with interventional procedures. * Ensures the day to day operations run smoothly and issues are reported promptly. * Participates in staff in-service program. * Help schedules patients. * Keeps area supplied and clean. * Assists with orientation of new staff and students. * Assists clerical area when needed. * Perform HIS/RIS/PACS functions. * Maintains equipment to decrease downtime and overtime expense. * Participates in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives. * Other job duties as needed, including diagnostic images if sonographer has ARRT license **Licenses and Certifications:** * Certified by the ARDMS as a Sonographer and maintain annual renewal/registration with the certifying organization. Revocation or inability to maintain licensure and/or registration may result in termination of the individual. Required * Didactic course work and alternative eligibility as specified in the ARDMS application for certification instructions. Required * If employee is RDMS or registry eligible, no additional experience necessary. Required * Renewal of licensure will be completed 2 weeks prior to expiration date. Required
