This includes making recommendations, conducting surveillance, and maintaining hospital-wide infection surveillance, prevention, and control policies. Infection Preventionist will confer with organizational stakeholders and local health departments to implement infection reduction strategies and best practices. **Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:** * Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or related degree required. * Minimum of five years' relevant experience of experience in Infection control or closely related field required. ** ** **Preferred Certification/License/Experience:** * Certification from APIC * Certification from CIC * Membership in APIC * Membership in SHEA **Other Key Words:** Healtcare Quality // Performance // IP // PT // Infection Control **Campus:** Midtown and Gateway **Department:** Infection Control **Hours:** Part-time, 24 hours/week
