Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families. This 43 private bed plus suite unit provides care for surgical/medical patients, with an emphasis on the post-operative patient. The staff on Surgical Medical Care Center (SMCC) provides care to a wide variety of patients including trauma patients, post-operative patients, genito-urinary procedures, head and neck cases, bariatric surgical procedures and multiple medical conditions. SMCC is recognized for its teamwork and dedication to quality care and patient safety.
