In addition to our robust healthcare and retirement plans, we offer: \- Flexible work schedules - Full time/part time/supplemental - Day/Eve/Night \- Onsite children's care centers (Infant through Pre-K) \- Tuition reimbursement \- Student Loan Repayment Program \- Payactiv-earned wage benefit-work today, get paid tomorrow \- Free access to fitness centers \- Career advancement opportunities **Job Overview:** * Maintains general repair / installation work on all types of clinical equipment and systems. * Assures proper operational and regulatory documentation is maintained. * Assures that the facility, equipment and its systems are maintained to meet regulatory requirements and in a safe operating condition, and continually works in a safe manner following all relevant policies, procedures, and codes. * Evaluates malfunctioning clinical systems and equipment and recommends repair or replacement as necessary. * Performs general inspection, repair, and installation work on all types of clinical equipment and systems. * Processes work orders and preventative maintenance orders thru the system in an effective and timely manner. * Keeps self-informed on code requirements and changes in procedures. * Maintains a clean work area, tools, and shop. * Ensures the availability of test and clinical equipment. * Provides emergency call-in services on a rotating basis. * Develops training programs for biomedical and nursing staff where needed. * Performs incoming evaluations on new, loaned, or leased equipment. * Assures proper regulatory documentation is maintained. * Participates in personal and professional development. * Determines testing procedure and schedule for equipment following department policies and procedures. * Assures that the facility, equipment, and its systems are maintained in safe operating condition, and continually works in a safe manner following all relevant policies, procedures, and codes. * Functions with responsibility for coordination and completion of assignments. Assists and instructs as required. **Required Certification/License/Experience:** * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) * Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology Required or Completion of a US Military Biomedical Equipment Technology program * Experience Qualifications - Minimum of two years' relevant experience working in a biomedical equipment technology field Other Key Words: Key words: Biomed, Biomed Technician Certified, Technician, Certified
