RN - ICU - Nights

Carries out patient care according to hospital policies and procedures functioning within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. Implementing and documenting patient care. Documents patient care appropriately and completely. Established treatment priorities based on the medical and nursing diagnosis. Recognizes patient problems/.complications and intervenes appropriately. Administers medications safely and documents completely. Participates in the development and adherence to written ICU nursing standards of care. Maintains skills required to work with ICU patients. Demonstrates the ability to perform/assist specialized procedures. Assesses patient/family physical and psychosocial needs. Supports both in a positive manner. Identifies need for patient/family teaching. Documents involvement in discharge planning and patient teaching.
