Job Description
Delta Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. Under the direction of the Inpatient Director, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals from newborn to geriatric while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
What You’ll Do
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and the Nurse Practice ActPrioritize and deliver care based on patient needs and diagnosesSafely administer medications and monitor patient responsesRecognize and respond to changes in patient conditionSupport discharge planning and patient/family educationCollaborate with physicians, families, and care teamsParticipate in shift handoff and unit communication
What You’ll Need
Active Colorado RN license1 year of nursing experience preferred (new graduates welcome)BLS required upon hireACLS & PALS required upon hire or within 6 monthsNew grads: ACLS within 1 year, PALS within 18 monthsSpecialty certification preferred

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients (up to 80 lbs unassisted; more with help)Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment and document careAbility to respond quickly in high-stress situations
