Make a Difference A Physical Therapist will be responsible for Interpreting results of initial evaluation, determines appropriate patient goals , and develops treatment plan . You will modify treatment plan as needed and utilizes appropriate treatment techniques. The experienced Pelvic Health Physical Therapist is willing to also treat orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include ability to evaluate and treat women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction including incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and cancer related conditions. Experience with pediatric pelvic health a plus but not required. Clinician also willing to treat general orthopedic conditions when schedule allows. The Physical Therapist will practice in the south region at the Stones Crossing location. Exceptional skills and Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required Must have a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit Experience with Pelvic floor conditions for both male and female and outpatient orthopedics. Experience with pediatric pelvic health a plus but not required. Must be knowledgeable in anatomy/physiology , evaluation and therapy , theoretical concepts and techniques, current materials and technological advances, and new professional trends. You will effectively provide quality service to impaired individuals and communicate effectively with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external customers. An ability to incorporate a basic understanding of the behaviors, developmental needs, physical needs, emotional needs, and comfort of the child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient will help. Also, you must be able to lift/transfer patients and treatment supply items without restriction.
