Position Opening: Registered Nurse-Charge Nurse

Salary Range: $42.72 - $79.98 per hour based upon union contract

Position Summary: The HarborCrest Nurse is responsible for providing, coordinating and directing individualized, comprehensive nursing care to all patients based upon the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Charge Nurse is accountable for their own actions and is directly responsible to the Nursing Director. In the absence of the Nursing Director, is responsible to the House Supervisor. The Registered Nurse is expected to function with a minimum of supervision.

Job Requirements: Current WA State RN license; Minimum of one (1) year addiction medicine experience preferred; Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical experience preferred; A minimum of one (1) year current Charge Nurse experience preferred; and working knowledge of ASAM criteria and Lift 40 pounds from waste to floor, lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level, lift 5 pounds over heard, pull 50 pounds from stretcher to bed, push 150 pound loaded stretcher 300 feet; Flexibility, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, squatting, climbing into a bed; Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures; Current CPR card and no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of two (2) years immediately prior to the time of application for this position and be willing to provide at least two (2) letters of documented abstinence.
