Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Primary Care

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE A ssists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION T he Samaritan InterCommunity Health Clinic is a comprehensive, patient-centered primary care clinic for IHN - CCO members with the goal of promoting equitable and culturally humble care for all, by aligning the health plan with the clinical team to increase access, improve quality outcomes, reduce cost, and enhance coordination of care. EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS C urrent unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) licensure required. Healthcare Provider BLS required. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. Lab/ EKG experience preferred. Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers.
