Speech Language Pathologist

JOB SUMMARY:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides professional speech-language pathology services under a physician’s prescription to a population of one or more of the following: 1) Outpatient Adult/Geriatric Speech or Swallowing disorders; 2) Outpatient Pediatric Speech disorders; and 3) Inpatient Pediatric/Adult/Geriatric Speech or Swallowing disorders (including MBS studies).  Provides patient education to both patient and family members.  The SLP will also work with the inpatient interdisciplinary team to provide care planning and discharge planning assistance.
LICENSURE:
Requires license through State of Washington as a Speech Language Pathologist (LL) and current BLS certification.  Must be have current certification through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
REQUIREMENTS:
This position is per diem status to cover inpatients due to vacation, illness and other needs for periods of temporary coverage.
