PHLEBOTOMIST Full-Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Collect and process venous and capillary samples from all patient age groups. Perform and document therapeutic phlebotomies. Document and record samples/results. Accession and process referral testing samples. Maintain records, files and route patient reports. Perform clerical duties as assigned. Participate and promote QA activities. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES : As assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES: Phlebotomy skill and competency. AGE-RELATED COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills necessary to identify age-specific patient needs appropriate for this position.
