Works in a variety of settings depending on the needs of the department. Completion of PTCB certification and sterile compounding online certification required for transfer to Tech II. Responsibilities - Accurately fill medication orders for patients - Restocking of automated dispensing cabinets - Expiration audits and sign off of hospital areas as assigned - Inventory management of stock - Computer knowledge of systems assigned for position - Pharmacy environment cleanliness Qualifications - 1 year hospital experience preferred or other relevant experience as a medical technician - H.S. diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations Competencies Skills Essential: * Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal * Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs * Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members * Able To Withstand Crisis Situations * Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors * Proof Of Current/Valid Car Insurance * Valid DL With No More Than 3 Moving Violations Credentials Education Essential: * High school graduate or equivalent Entry USD $17.50/Hr. Max USD $27.13/Hr.
