Position SummaryMoore Regional Hospital’s pharmacy team seeks a dedicated professional to assist inpatient pharmacists in preparing medications, managing drug inventory, and ensuring safe and efficient medication management services that enhance the patient experience. Are you a detail-oriented pharmacy technician looking to make a real impact in healthcare? ResponsibilitiesFirstHealth’s inpatient pharmacy technicians perform a wide range of tasks that include, but are not limited to:sterile compoundingnon-sterile drug compoundingpharmacy inventory duties (stocking, rotation of stock, outdate checking, etc.)medication distributionpreparing patient-specific medicationsstocking and inventory management of Omnicell automated drug cabinetsemergency drug kit preparation QualificationsQualifications (required):high school diploma or GEDeligibility to obtain PTCB technician certification within one yearcomputer literacygreat personality and ability to get along well with othersdesire to serve internal customers and patientshearing acuityvisual acuitymanual dexterity Qualifications (preferred):pharmacy technician experiencehospital inpatient pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred
