Position SummaryWe are looking for a detail‑driven, reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team to directly manage our pharmacy’s inventory. You’ll support pharmacists and technicians by managing inventory workflows that keep the pharmacy running smoothly. ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory levels for prescription and over the counter medicationsReceive, unpack, and verify incoming pharmaceutical ordersRotate stock and help monitor expiration dates to ensure compliance and safetyProcess returns, recalls, and outdated medications according to regulationsTrack usage trends and communicate supply needs to pharmacy leadershipMaintain clean, organized storage areas and ensure proper medication handlingAssist with controlled substance inventory procedures following legal requirementsCollaborate with pharmacy staff to resolve inventory discrepanciesUse pharmacy software systems to manage inventory activity QualificationsRequiredRegistered as a technician with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.Previous retail pharmacy experiencePrefferredPrior use of Rx30 softwareCertified as a pharmacy technician through the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB) preferred, but if not currently must be able to attain within 1 year of hire.Proven computer skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
