Position SummaryUnder the direction of a licensed pharmacist, the medication history specialist will be charged with gathering home medication information from patients, accurately entering that information into a computer system, and investigating any discrepancies identified. The employee will use all available resources (local pharmacies, external databases, primary care physician clinics, etc.) to ensure that medical histories are as complete and accurate as possible. The medication history specialist must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt positively to changes in workflow. QualificationsQualificationsMust be a certified pharmacy technician and registered with the Board of PharmacyTwo years pharmacy technician experience requiredFamiliarity with computers is requiredThree years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
