Endoscopy Technician

Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate team player to join our Endoscopy unit, In this role you will assist the providers with a variety of endoscopic procedures, ensuring that each patient receives high quality care. ResponsibilitiesPrepare the procedure room and assist the provider during procedures.Reprocess endoscopes according to established protocol.Perform equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.Monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available for procedures.Educating and comforting patients before, during and after procedures to provide a positive experience.Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and unit efficiency.Able to assist with back up late and call rotation (weekday, weekend and holiday). QualificationsHigh School Graduate/GED.BCLS required.Prior GI experience required.CNA I and CNA II required.Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and care quality.
