ResponsibilitiesThe Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU) is an intermediate cardiac unit specializing in pre- and post-procedural care. This includes patients with NSTEMI or active chest pain requiring cardiac interventions, electrophysiology abnormalities treated with ICD's or radiofrequency ablations. We manage dysrhythmias through administration and titration of cardiac drips. Nurses actively participate in bedside procedures and manage arterial access devices. CSU is a busy, fast paced unit seeking highly motivated team players looking to expand their cardiac skill set and provide optimal patient outcomes. Nurses are expected to obtain and maintain ACLS certification. QualificationsWill be working 72/hrs per pay period as a staff RN for 12 weeks. Benefit status is consistent with casual part time benefits. Former FHC employees and current agency staff are also eligible to apply. At least 1 year recent acute care experience required. NC RN License or Multistate RN License required.
