Whether you're scanning for vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, or small parts studies, your precision and patient-first approach will help drive our mission of exceptional care. *Free FirstHealth Fitness Membership ResponsibilitiesUltrasound Tech Job Summary  Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician ordersEnsure accurate image acquisition and documentation for interpretationMaintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging processCollaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatmentParticipate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance activitiesFulfill on-call duties one weeknight per week and one weekend per month, responding promptly to emergent imaging needsUphold FirstHealth’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and patient-centered care QualificationsUltrasound Tech Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography programCurrent ARDMS certification in one or more specialties (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular preferred)BLS certification (Basic Life Support) requiredMinimum of one year clinical experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyCommitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detailFlexibility to meet on-call requirements as scheduled Why FirstHealth?FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a leading healthcare system recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and community.
