The nurse is responsible for direct patient care, delegation of appropriate tasks, communication with the multi-disciplinary care team, and documentation of care.  The Med/Neuro ICU is a recently renovated 20-bed unit which provides the highest-level acuity-adaptable care to medical, neurological, and surgical patients admitted to FirstHealth. MNU has been recognized for being CAUTI free for 2 years as well as being a Five-Star Recipient from Healthgrades for the treatment of Stroke and Respiratory Failure. We seek to develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession.  QualificationsRequirements:NC RN or Multistate RN license1 Year of ICU or PCU Experience requiredBLSACLSPALS NIH (Must be completed within 60 days of hire)
