This position focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, but the caseload may include patients with generalized weakness and balance issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in the orthopedic field and will be passionate for delivering evidence based and patient-centered care ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions, balance issues, and generalized weaknessProvide hands-on therapy using a range of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exerciseDocument patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards and best practicesCollaborate with the primary therapist as well as physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomesWork closely with a large team of experienced Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Occupational Therapists Educate patients and families about their conditions Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staffParticipate in continuous professional development QualificationsGraduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant programCurrent NC PTA license3 years of experience preferredCPR/BLS certificationStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and motivate patientsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCommitment to ongoing professional growth and development
