Removing trays in timely manner. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and promote positive patient outcomes - Completes hourly rounds to assigned patients and anticipates patient needs. Responding promptly to call lights and patient requests - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions - Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing bed linens, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness of patient rooms, and preparing rooms for admissions and transfers. - Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff - Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and hospital procedures Qualifications - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Credentials - Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in DE - BLS – Basic Life Saving Certification Education - High school diploma preferred OR current high school student with CNA license (work schedule in compliance with the State of Delaware Department of Labor Regulations) Entry USD $18.25/Hr. Max USD $28.29/Hr.
