PRN Inpatient Nursing Assistant

Astera Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a passion to be part of the Inpatient Nursing (Med/Surg) team. Inpatient Nursing Assistants are primarily responsible for providing direct patient care on the Med/Surg floor in coalition with the Registered Nurses and Providers, and are considered vital in our workflow processes as they directly care for our patients. This position is for a PRN/casual status in the inpatient unit. Some responsibilities of the Inpatient Nursing Assistant include, but are not limited to the following: * Observing and reporting patient data * Performing patient care and assistance * Ensuring applicable patient and family needs are met * Taking patient records * Maintaining patient care supplies Education and experience required: * Nurse's Aide Technical Training or Certification - preferred * Maintain active BLS certification Astera Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
