As a Clinical Office Assistant in our Mt. Vernon Express clinic, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients experiencing urgent illnesses, injuries, and other immediate healthcare needs. Working under the supervision of a physician and within your scope of training, you'll provide both direct and indirect patient care, by assisting with patient care, procedures, documentation, and patient education in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new. Education and Experience** * Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required. * Experience preferred but not required. Certificates Current certification from one of the below: * Certified Medical Assistant- AAMA * Registered Medical Assistant- AMT * Certified Clinical Medical Assistant- NHA * National Certified Medical Assistant- NCCT * Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- NAHP * Registered Medical Assistant- AAH * Certified Medical Assistant Clinical- AMCA OR Licenses Current license from one of the below: * Active LPN license, compact license preferred. * Active RN license, compact license preferred. CPR provider certification required.
