Position HighlightsAutonomous practice environment suited for seasoned professionals comfortable practicing independently.Will provide coverage for Troy, Sanford, Southern Pines and Hamlet.Hours are 8am-5pm.Perform pre‑placement, routine, and exit physical examinations for employees.Provide timely and accurate diagnosis, treatment for employees and dependents, and management of work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.Advise employees on workplace health, safety, and injury‑prevention strategies. Hourly rate plus paid malpractice with tail coverage. QualificationsPA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.Minimum 3 years of APP experience required, prior Occupational Health experience preferred.Other preferred qualifications include background in workers comp, working at employer sites, experience conducting veteran exams and/or NC disability exams.Must have a clean background, NC licensure, and NC DEA.DOT certification, and AHA BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.CAOHC and NIOSH certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
