Position Opening: Director
Salary Range: $125,000 - $153,000 annually

Position Summary: Highly effective, self-directed quality professional, responsible to lead, manage,
develop, facilitate, integrate, and support quality, medical staff and privacy activities within the
organization. The individual will operate under the guidelines that all activities are based upon a
collaboratively designed, planned, systematic, interdisciplinary, and quality driven approach. Oversees
and monitors the implementation of the Hospital Compliance Program.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, preferable with major course work in business administration,
health care administration, or graduation from an accredited nursing or other medical training
program; Specific training in hospital corporate compliance; CEN certification; Knowledge of fraud
and abuse regulations, health reimbursement system, third party payer guidelines, and general
coding practices; Highly organized, self-directed ability to supervise, manage, and lead effectively;
Ability to work independently and in groups to develop, implement, and monitor organizational
programs and processes; Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; Possess
interpersonal communication skills; able to listen, engage in problem-solving, and give feedback;
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization; Knowledge of performance improvement
methodology and facilitation skills; Knowledge of group process and meeting skills; Knowledge of
customer service standards and processes; Ability to schedule, coordinate, and provide support for
multiple committees/groups/teams, etc; Ability to develop and present documents encompassing, but
not limited to policies and procedures, spreadsheets, statistical process and graphic presentation for
various levels of committee/board review. Ability to prepare and deliver educational programs; Ability
to lead and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, medical staff, and
external vendors; Ability to interpret standards and translate them into organizational policy; Ensures
compliance and state, federal, DNV, and hospital standards.
