Position Opening: Cardiovascular Technician

Salary Range: $37.72 – $61.70 per union contract

Position Summary: Provides patient care. Communicates continuously with physician about
patient condition. Assists physician during invasive and noninvasive procedures. Operates all
equipment safely and correctly. Maintains PAR levels. Ensures the needs of the Cardiac Cath Lab
team are met. The Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting
with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology preferred, or
BS or Associate Degree in healthcare related field; RCIS/AART certification preferred; Certified in
cardiovascular technology preferred; Current BLS certification; ACLS certification; Able to
communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Basic computer knowledge; Proficient in
interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings; Operates different equipment: x-ray table,
camera, video recorder, ultrasound machines, and pressure injectors

Time Schedule: Full Time: XX 1.0 FTE 7:00am-3:30pm with call
