Possess the effectiveness to lead and supervise the daily performance of engineering staff. Perform Preventive Maintenance and urgent, corrective and routine repairs in electrical and plumbing systems. Assist Operations Manager in matters of performance reviews and discipline. Supervisor shall assist the Operations Manager in maintaining an effective organization, administering monetary controls, safety and effective management, planning, training, and personnel in their general and specific duties. Minimum QualificationsDegrees: Associate's DegreeIn the field of engineering, business, science, or skilled trade preferredSchool Education: High School or GEDLicenses & Certifications: LicenseJourneyman License or equivalentcertification preferredTexas Drivers License preferredWork Experience: Four years hospital or related work experience required. Familiar with hospital operations, experience with Regulatory Requirements such as DNV, TDSHS, and Joint Commission preferred.Management Experience: Two years experiences of supervisory level in plant operations or maintenance.Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing/Correspondence, Writing/ReportsProficiencies: MS Excel, MS Word, P.C., Typing Job AttributesKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical, Mathematics, CMMS Access Work Schedule: Flexible, TravelEquipment Operated: Valid Texas Drivers License preferred.
