Fertitta Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston.The Radiology Patient Services Representative is responsible for the coordination of patient throughput within multiple modalities of the Radiology department, the preparation and maintenance of patient records for treatment/procedures, and to provide reports and/or documentation needed by Radiology Administration.Minimum QualificationsEducation/Specialized Training/Licensure: GED or High School diploma;Work Experience (Years and Area): Experience to include Windows based computer systems. One year clerical and/or customer service experience in a health care settingEquipment Operated: Office equipment (Computer, fax, multiline phone, scanner)Special RequirementsCommunication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Composing: Correspondence, ReportsOther Skills: Analytical, Medical Terms, Typing(wpm 35), P.C. , MS Word , MS ExcelAdvanced Education/Advance Training: Experience with Windows based computer systems to include Epic and Radiology Information System (RIS)Work Schedule: Weekends/Flexible
