Orients and trains staff and physicians in technical skills.Minimum Qualifications School Education: - High School Diploma or GEDDegrees: - Associate of Applied Science: in technical Ophthalmology (Preferred)Licenses & Certifications: - Certified Ophthalmic Technician from Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology- Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved programWork Experience: - Three (3) Years Work ExperienceManagement Experience: - One (1) Year leadership Experience preferredLanguage Skills: - Spanish (Preferred) Communication Skills: - Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)Proficiencies: - P.C.Job AttributesKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Analytical Abilities- Research Knowledge and AbilitiesWork Schedule: - FlexibleOther Special Requirements Equipment Operated: Proficiency with diagnostic ophthalmology equipment including fundus camera, keratometer, A/B scan, IOL calculations, tonometry, visual fields, etc
