Radiology Technologist

Under the direction of the Radiologist and Imaging Director, the Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail.# Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.# Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.# Must be capable of performing all routine diagnostic procedures in radiology. May be responsible to perform QC as needed in assistance of the Lead. Qualifications: # # Graduate from an accredited school or college program in Radiology Technology required. # Current State of New Mexico licensure required. # ARRT registered and certified with the State of New Mexico required. # BCLS required. # One-year experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred. # Communication and organizational skills required. # Computer proficiency and technical aptitude required.#
