New Grad RN Residency Program

Are you a registered nurse graduate seeking a dynamic and enriching RN residency program? Jefferson Healthcare is committed to providing exceptional and comprehensive transition-to-practice experience for registered nurse graduates. Our RN Residency Program is a 12-month program that includes clinical experiences with didactic education, simulations, and individualized support from experienced nurse educators. This support will prepare and nurture novice nurses to provide excellent care for our community's patients.
As you embark on your nursing career, it's crucial to select an organization that values and invests in its most valuable resource - its Nurses!
What can you expect?

12-16 weeks of orientation under 1:1 direct supervision of a trained preceptor
Ongoing, regular support and follow-up from nurse educators for the first 12 months
Smaller cohort sizes for more individualized support
Shadowing experiences throughout the organization
Opportunity to cross-train to other departments.

What you'll need for the program:

WA State RN license in good standing
AHA BLS/CPR certification required.
ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire, depending on the department.
NIHSS certification is required within 6 months of hire, depending on the department.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
