The Director organizes the development of the process for successful (ANCC) application, including required documents for designation and re-designation. The MPD directs, provides, and implements education related to ANCC model components and sources of evidence to leadership and staff at all levels. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Lee Health mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with system policies and procedures. Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, Chief Nurse Executive, the MPD is responsible for the coordination and communication and the overall management of nursing quality. This individual monitors, reports, directs, and integrates actions related to nursing quality initiatives to promote high quality nursing care.
